La Banda Sinf\u00f3nica de Oreg\u00f3n presenta: Let’s Dance

SOBRE LA BANDA SINF\u00d3NICA DE OREG\u00d3N
\nLa organizaci\u00f3n formal de la Banda Sinf\u00f3nica de Oreg\u00f3n tuvo lugar en Portland, Oreg\u00f3n, en septiembre de 1986. La visi\u00f3n de los seis miembros fundadores era crear no s\u00f3lo un medio de actuaci\u00f3n para que los adultos hicieran m\u00fasica, sino tambi\u00e9n establecer altos niveles de excelencia musical. El conjunto cuenta con una media de sesenta miembros desde su primera temporada. La OSB ha actuado en varias escuelas del \u00e1rea metropolitana de Portland\/Vancouver, as\u00ed como en convenciones y conferencias musicales. Actu\u00f3 en eventos tan prestigiosos como la Conferencia de Educadores Musicales de Oreg\u00f3n, la Convenci\u00f3n All-Northwest MENC, la Western International Band Clinic y, en diciembre de 2006, fue la primera banda comunitaria adulta de Oreg\u00f3n invitada a tocar en la Midwest Clinic de Chicago en la celebraci\u00f3n de su 60\u00ba aniversario. En diciembre de 2007, la OSB recibi\u00f3 el premio Sudler Silver Scroll Award de la Fundaci\u00f3n John Phillip Sousa, que reconoce a la OSB como una de las bandas comunitarias m\u00e1s destacadas de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n
