Entretejiendo historias personales e imaginarias de la vida cotidiana, la familia, el trauma y el dolor generacional por el encarcelamiento masivo de personas de ascendencia japonesa, las obras retratan detalles bellos e inquietantes de la p\u00e9rdida y el desplazamiento. Al explorar c\u00f3mo las personas navegan por la identidad en un paisaje cultural en constante cambio, las obras creativas cuestionan creencias y suposiciones al tiempo que ofrecen oportunidades para ver el mundo de otra manera.<\/p>\n<p><em>1.000 lunas<\/em><br \/>\n22 de junio \u2013 13<br \/>\nde agosto Emily Jung Miller \u2013 artista<br \/>\nemergente En los meses posteriores a la muerte de sus abuelos por COVID, Emily Jung Miller luch\u00f3 por mantener los pies en la tierra, y la comprensi\u00f3n del tiempo se distorsion\u00f3 e irreal. Como conexi\u00f3n con ambos abuelos, y con los ciclos naturales del tiempo, Miller form\u00f3 a mano 40 hojas de papel de gran tama\u00f1o con algas, partituras y otros materiales vinculados a su historia. Recortando las hojas para crear un total de 1.175 &#8220;lunas&#8221; collageadas, Miller represent\u00f3 cada luna llena de los 94 a\u00f1os de vida de su abuela.
