    Oregon Origins Project in partnership with Stelo presents an epic new musical and visual art work depicting the dramatic events of Oregon’s geologic history. Join us for an artistic exploration of the state’s geologic origin stories, including the Columbia River basalt flows, Basin and Range earthquakes, Cascade volcanoes, Missoula floods, and much more.

    Oregon Origins Project is an innovative arts and culture initiative which explores the ancient origins of the state of Oregon through creative expression. The project provides a platform for Indigenous artists and culture bearers to share their living traditions and artistic work, and an opportunity for artists of all disciplines to create new work inspired by the state’s origins.     Oregon Origins Project VI: The Birth of Cascadia is presented in partnership with Stelo and generously supported by Ronni Lacroute, the Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery, and Reed College Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program.
