Altered Terrain
March 15 – May 10
Informed by environmental changes, artists Christine Bourdette and Michael Boonstra take a close look at the altered lands surrounding us. Instigated by radical events such as fire, erosion, or geologic fracturing, the artists focus on the earth’s metamorphosis, distortions, upheavals, and shifts. A metaphor for the human experience, the works explore fragility, loss, and memory as a path to gradual growth and regeneration.

RE:Forms
March 15 – May 10
Featuring one-of-a-kind repurposed textiles, artists Alicia Decker and Elissa Breitbard of LuKynn create thoughtful and intentional fiber compositions. Resembling aerial photographs and topographical landscapes, the hand-dyed, recycled, and organic fabrics utilize the artist duo’s talents in harvesting, sewing, and splicing patterns and color. Celebrating a love of past textile lives and stories, the fabrics are reimagined through creative collaboration into beautiful new and sustainable works of art rooted in the universality of cloth and their synergistic connections with people and place.
