Flor de Toloache arrives at The Reser on October 15 with a performance that celebrates the evolution, passion, and power of mariachi music. As New York City’s first and only all-female mariachi group, Flor de Toloache has become an international sensation, redefining the genre through a vibrant fusion of traditional mariachi with jazz, rock, pop, and R&B influences.

Founded in 2008 by Mireya I. Ramos and Shae Fiol, the ensemble is known for its extraordinary musicianship, emotional performances, and multicultural identity, with members representing Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Colombia, Germany, Italy, and the United States. Their innovative artistry has earned them worldwide acclaim, including the 2017 Latin Grammy Award for Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album for Las Caras Lindas. The honor recognized not only the group’s exceptional talent, but also its groundbreaking role in expanding the boundaries of mariachi while remaining deeply rooted in tradition.
