This marvelous venue would not be opening if not for the generosity of our supporters.

The first of its kind to be built from the ground up in the Greater Portland area in more than three decades, this world-class venue and gathering place has come to life thanks to the collaborative efforts and passionate commitment of an extraordinary and unique partnership between public and private project champions that came from Beaverton and throughout the state.

In July 2018, the Beaverton Arts Foundation announced a generous pledge of $13 million to launch the project forward — and with this news, the center was officially named Patricia Reser Center for the Arts.

In three short years, over 950 donors -individuals, families, foundations & businesses — joined together to raise over $12 million in private funding. Gifts ranged from $2 to $1.5 million. Strong support came from our local community, Washington County, the Portland Metro region, and states across the country.

Together, these donors became part of a rare opportunity to shift the landscape of a city. To develop a beautiful gathering place that will redefine and shape arts and culture as we celebrate the human desire to create and be inspired. To design a welcoming place to serve the region for generations to come.

We are honored and humbled by what this community has accomplished and are eager to celebrate together at the public opening in Spring 2022.
