The mission of the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts is to foster joy, imagination, connection, and understanding in our diverse community by presenting artistic, cultural, educational, and entertainment opportunities for all.

About

The Patricia Reser Center for the Arts is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most dynamic arts destinations, a place where world-class artists meet a genuinely curious, engaged, and growing audience. Located in Beaverton, Oregon—a vibrant and culturally diverse city just west of Portland and one of the region’s fastest-growing communities—The Reser opened in 2022 and has quickly become a cultural force, presenting an ambitious mix of music, dance, film, theater, comedy, and visual art that reflects the full breadth of human experience.

We present artistic, cultural, educational, and entertainment experiences of quality and relevance, performances and exhibitions that reflect the diverse interests and passions of the people we serve. We present national and international artists and attractions; provide a performance home for regional arts organizations; promote the interests of artists; engage and develop new audiences; encourage participation in the arts; create opportunities for arts education; enhance the reputation of Beaverton as a regional destination; and strive always to be a genuine and indispensable contributor to the quality of life in our community. Strategic Plan

Land Acknowledgement

We want to acknowledge the people on whose land we live—the Atfalati-Kalapuyans, also known as the Tualatin Band of Kalapuyans—as the first inhabitants of Washington County. We are grateful for this Kalapuyan land. Today their descendants are tribal members of Grand Ronde and Siletz tribes, carrying on the traditions and cultures of their ancestors. We acknowledge and express gratitude for the ancestors of this place and recognize that we are here because of the sacrifices forced upon them. In remembering these communities, we honor their legacy, their lives, and their presence in our community.
