Camerata PYP: Winter Concert, Beatles Concerto Grosso

Beatles songs meet the chamber orchestra in Camerata PYP’s first concert of 2027. The program is highlighted by Peter Breiner’s Beatles Concerto Grosso No. 4, an orchestral reimagining of music made famous by the Beatles.

PYP Concerto Competition runner-up Eleanor Price takes the spotlight as oboe soloist in the first movement of Ruth Gipps’ Oboe Concerto. The evening also features George Enescu’s Decet for Winds in D Major, Op. 14, Gipps’ Seascapes, Op. 53, and the West Coast premiere of Kenji Bunch’s E pluribus for string orchestra.
