Liberace and Liza: The Cedar Hills Have Eyes (A Tribute)

David Saffert and Jillian Snow return to The Reser with their eerily accurate portrayals of Liberace and Liza Minnelli for what is turning into a Beaverton Halloween tradition, because nothing says “spooky” quite like sequins, jazz hands, and unresolved mother issues. Over the past year, the two have become an online sensation and an international phenomenon winning “Best Show” at the Brighton Fringe an Off West End “Offie” award which led to a two week run at The Harold Pinter Theatre in London’s West End and a full month residency at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In a show nobody asked for (but everyone will be glad exists), these two musical creeps channel the spirits of showbiz legends who famously never performed together—possibly for reasons of cosmic self-preservation.

Expect piano pyrotechnics, vocals with zero regard for restraint, and costume changes that may induce mild motion sickness. It’s cabaret meets séance, and yes, a fog machine. We love fog machines.
