Celebrando Jóvenes con Visión

Join us for Celebrando Jóvenes con Visión, a vibrant community event uplifting Latinx youth through culture, vision, and storytelling! This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as Co-Founder and Executive Director Kathryn López Resto debuts her very first children’s book, Soy Auténtica — the story of Isabella, a young Latina girl who learns to embrace her identity with courage and pride, honoring authenticity, resilience, and culture. The evening will feature a traditional dance performance by Huitzilopochtli, a special reading from Empower Youth Latinx – Jóvenes Leyendo Juntos, a spoken word performance by Marv Media World, and a reading from MJ Calderon, author of A Kids Book About Immigration. Guests will also have the chance to win incredible prizes, including Alaska Airlines tickets to anywhere they fly, sideline seats to a Rip City Remix game, OMSI passes, unique t-shirts, jewelry, art by Latinx artists, and more.
