Classical Comedy Hour

Amadeus Chamber Orchestra presents its first Classical Comedy Hour, a hilarious collection of classical-themed skits and acts. Think SNL meets Victor Borge, Jack Benny and PDQ Bach. From a string quartet desperately seeking violist to the colossal, ultra-conductor Maestro Massimo, you’ll be laughing hysterically, all while feeling refined and cultured. This comedy hour will bring you closer to many of your favorite classical musicians from around Portland that are, by coincidence, really really funny!

The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra was founded by Adam LaMotte in 2018. It presents intimate but powerful performances. As a conductor-less chamber orchestra, its strength lies in its flexibility, and the reliance on the cumulative strength of all the musicians, not just one musician calling the shots. Call it chamber music on steroids.
