In class, teaching artists integrate movement from a diverse variety of dance and movement styles, including choreographic repertory, to engage participants’ minds and bodies and create an enjoyable, social environment for artistic exploration. This class is for persons with Parkinson’s or other challenges with mobility.
Dance for PD Oregon® provides enjoyable, life-affirming and research-backed dance classes to people living with Parkinson’s and their families. Teaching artists integrate music and movement from a diverse variety of styles, including choreographic repertory, to engage participants’ minds and bodies and create an enjoyable, social environment for artistic exploration. This class is for individuals with Parkinson’s or other challenges with mobility. Dance for PD® is a program of The Mark Morris Dance Group.
A signed waiver is required to attend these classes.
