Studio Abioto features the self-defining works of a family of six Black women who through visual and performative stories invoke the synergy of art, spirituality, and ecology as cultural transformative work. The collective lens of Midnite, Intisar, Dr. Wood Chopper, Ni, Amenta Yawa, and Medina Abioto express an evolving primordial connection to their art and the ecology of the earth through photography, film, music, dance, written/spoken word, visual and culinary arts.
