The Reser Presents: Arts for Healing

The Reser is proud to announce Arts for Healing, an inspiring series of transformative and healing classes. We believe in the healing power of art to nourish the soul, ignite creativity, and spark conversations that bring people together in shared moments of reflection and growth. This series promotes emotional well-being while fostering a sense of unity.

“We are committed to uniting everyone in our community. Arts for Healing, a new series as part of our budding education program, brings people together around the power of dance, rhythm, and storytelling to provide agency and to rejuvenate. I’m excited to see this series come to life,” said Executive Director Chris Ayzoukian.

Join us for these Arts for Healing classes, where each encounter is an invitation to find solace, inspiration, and renewal.

    Story Medicine: A Storytelling Workshop
    Mondays, June 3, 10, 17, 24
    4 pm in The Lab.

Stories we hear and tell can have a profound impact upon our mental, emotional, and physical health. The unique stories of our lives carry the medicine of humor, wisdom, vision, and healing. We all have stories to tell and a unique voice and style for telling them.

In this four-session workshop, participants will be led through a variety of storytelling exercises and activities to bring a short (5-7 minutes) personal or traditional story to life. We will explore ways to integrate storytelling and story listening as a practice in daily life. Following the workshop, we will invite friends and family to share our stories for those who wish to do so. No previous experience in storytelling or performance is necessary.

These 4 classes are sold as a series package only. Purchase the entire series for $100 (4 classes).

A signed waiver is required to attend these classes.
