    Construction Update

The Reser’s project team, led by general contractor Skanska USA, continues to make progress. The exterior of the building is mostly complete, and the interior is already buzzing with activity. Recently, the team completed the architectural wood inside the Mainstage Theater. The interior of the Theater features wood slats emulating a beaver dam’s enclosure, with the blue fabric of the audience seats representing the water element. The facility includes over 21,000 square feet of Douglas fir.

The ceiling and lighting inside The Lab on the second floor have also been completed. The Lab will host a variety of educational workshops, classes, rehearsals, meetings and events.

Finally, installation of another piece of iconic public art has begun: Artist Will Schlough’s Gather is being installed on the adjacent Beaverton Central District Garage. Soon, beautiful Fender’s blue butterflies will adorn the garage’s north wall.
